Margaret Ann Gullet

Margaret Ann Caldwell Gullet, 90, of China Grove, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Tucker Hospice House.

She was born July 25, 1934, in Rowan County to the late Willie Caldwell and Lottie Garver Caldwell.

Margaret worked at Linn Mills for many years. She loved spending time at the lake, fishing and enjoying cookouts and gatherings with family and friends. She enjoyed making candy and celebrating Christmas. Margaret’s door was always open and her home was a frequent gathering place for family, friends, and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Morris Gullet, two sisters Jeanette Brown, twin sister Martha Culligan, and son-in-law Mike Horn.

Those left to cherish her memory; son, Barry Gullet and wife Marcy, daughter, Debbie Horn, three grandchildren, Michael Faggart, Rebecca Sanchez, Gabe Gullet, and two Great grandchildren Alexander and Emery Sanchez along with several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 24, 2025 at West Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Dennis Craft officiating.

Thanks to the staff at Concord Place Assisted Living Facility and The Drake Memory Care Unit for caring for Margaret for her last years.
