Margaret Everett Herrera Hardin

Obituary: Margaret Everett Herrera Hardin, 90, of Kannapolis passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Five Oaks Manor. She was born August 4, 1922 in Cleveland, Tn., the daughter of the late Adrian and Oma Frix Everett. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Herrera and Carl Hardin. She was originally from Cleveland, Tn and then moved to Phoenix, Az. in the 60's where she spent many years with her husband, George Herrera. After he passed away she moved to Kannapolis where she lived with her husband Carl Hardin until his passing. She is a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Father Al Riquelme. Burial will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Sunday at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter, Marilene Cathey Stirewalt and husband Frederick Moses Stirewalt of Concord, grandchildren: Karen Kelley, Rodney Kelley and wife Emily Catherine Kelley, Sabrina Kelley Eagle and husband K. Duane Eagle, great-grandchildren: Bianca Harris Hindman and husband Seth of Cleveland, Tn., Kelley Harris Ford and husband Will of Cleveland, Tn., Whitney Kelley of Murfreesboro, Tn., Lindsay Eagle, Joshua Eagle and Danielle Eagle of Salisbury, NC, great-great-grandchild: Shelby Goins of Cleveland, Tn., brothers: Larry Everett of Illinois and Jack Everett of Cleveland, Tn., step daughters: Gloria Nieblas and family of California and Jackie Hardin of Charlotte. The family would like to thank the staffs of Five Oaks Manor, CMC-NorthEast, Hospice and Dr. Kelling for her excellent care.
