Obituary: Margaret Linebarrier Isenhour, 78, of 702 Robin Ave., Kannapolis died at CMC-NorthEast in Concord on June 3, 2011. Mrs. Isenhour was born in Cabarrus Co., NC on Dec. 15, 1932, the daughter of Robert and Mary Bundy Linebarrier. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Isenhour who died in 1981 and a sister, Edith Phillips and a grandson, PFC Jonathan Carter. Margaret was a lifelong resident of this area graduating from Cannon High and working in the washcloth dept. of Cannon Mills. Later, she worked in Environmental Services at University Hospital. She was often thought of as a joy to be around and her joy was contagious. She is survived by two sons, Doug Isenhour and wife, Beverly Grimes and Stephen Isenhour all of Kannapolis; daughter, Elaine I. Carter and husband, Doug of Salisbury; 2 grandchildren, Samuel Carter and D'Ata Elgamil and, 3 great-grandchildren. Also, by a sister, Joyce Callicutt of Kannapolis.The funeral for Mrs. Isenhour will be graveside services at 2 p.m., Monday, June 6, 2011 at Carolina Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Joe Harding. The family will receive friends at the residence at 702 Robin Ave., Kannapolis after the service.
