Margaret Jean Foster

Margaret Jean Foster, 73, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Glenn Kaiser Hospice with family by her side. She was born on April 17, 1951, to the late Joseph and Lelia Sweat Kemp.

Jean married Harold Foster on June 17, 1989, in her sister, JoAnn Deaton’s backyard. Jean loved her family and her dear grandchildren. She was kind, good-hearted and very compassionate. Jean loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jean enjoyed antiquing and collecting baby dolls. She loved all her time she was able to spend with her dear husband, Harold.

Jean was preceded in death by her daughters, Rhonda Walter and Jessica Earley; her stepson, Keith Foster; her grandsons, Michael Earley and Kevin Foster and her sister, JoAnn Deaton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Harold Foster; her brothers, Bobby Kemp (Lisa) and Timmy Kemp; her stepchildren, Kenny Foster (Doris), Sandy Freeze, Donna Foster, Randall Foster (Sherri) and Todd Foster; her 10 grandchildren, Chad, Janet, Brandon, Michelle, Randy, Michael, Lindsay, Kasey Caleb and Gabriel; her six great grandchildren; and many friends.

Visitation for Jean will be on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Whitley’s Funeral Home, 1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd., Kannapolis, from 1:00 PM until the time of service. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tommy Wensil officiating. Burial with be at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove.
