Margaret Catherine Sloop Keller

Obituary: Margaret Catherine Barnhardt Sloop Keller, 83, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born October 21, 1935 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Roy Bernard Barnhardt, Sr. and the late Beulah Wike Barnhardt. Also preceded her in death were her first husband, William Ray Sloop and her second husband, Alex J. Keller. Family members left to cherish her memory are one son, Steven Sloop of Kannapolis and one daughter, Kimberly Sloop Jones and husband Micky of Cherryville, two sisters, Louise Moser and Nancy Harwood and husband Dean and one brother, Roy Barnhardt and wife Maxine. Margaret was a member of Kimball Lutheran Church which she dearly loved. She was a 1954 graduate of A.L. Brown High School where she loved to participate in the class reunions. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 3, 2018 at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. John Futterer. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
