Margaret Kelley Moore

Obituary: Margaret Kelley Moore, 87, formerly of Pleasant Ave., Kannapolis died Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Five Oaks Nursing Center. She was born March 28, 1928 in Anson County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Flora Kelley. She was preceded in death by her sons, Richard Wayne Moore and Gerald Lee Moore, grandson, Wesley Moore, sisters, Virginia Kelley and Kathleen Coley and brothers, Pete Kelley and Buck Kelley. Margaret had formerly worked at Kiddie College Daycare and Kid's Korner Daycare for many years. She was a member of West Point Baptist Church. She loved working in her yard. She also collected bells, babydolls and angels. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Charlie Littlejohn. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Monday at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Susan Moore Bare (Mike), granddaughter, April Moore Plemmons (Cody), great grandchildren, Brody and Knox Plemmons and her sister, Alma Kendall.
