Obituary: Kannapolis - Margaret Menius Lentz, 91, of 511 Evelyn Avenue Kannapolis, NC died March 14, 2009 at CMC NorthEast. She was born April 22, 1917 in Cabarrus County the daughter of the late Thomas Lucky Menius and the late Mary Elizabeth Strube Menius.She was also preceded in death by her husband Glenn Lentz and 2 brothers J.C. and Tommy Menius. She had formerly worked at Cannon Mills Co. Wash Cloth Dept. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday March 17, 2009 at Carolina Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 Tuesday at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by 3 sisters: Ruth Kerley, Maude Rumple, and Mary Godfrey all of Kannapolis and a brother Johnny Menius of Kannapolis, and numerous nieces and nephews.
