Obituary: Margie Helms Pless, 76, of Kannapolis died Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at CMC-Main in Charlotte. She was born December 4, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Pless in 2009. Margie retired from Cannon Mills. She was a member of West A Tabernacle Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Rodney Efird. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by a daughter, Wendy Joplin, grandchild, Taylor Joplin and a sister, Wanda Helms.
