Margie Link Wike

Obituary: Margie Link Wike, 75, of China Grove went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Big Elm Nursing Center, Kannapolis. She was born January 26, 1938 in Iredell County, NC a daughter of the late Harold and Irene Gregory Link. Margie was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and her baby "Sissy", the family dog. She was a member of New Testament Independent Baptist Church where she had sung in the choir and was a member of a quartet as long as her health permitted. She loved working in her flower garden and enjoyed fishing. Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Michael Ray Wike of the home, three sons, Terry (Tammy) Wike of Salisbury, Rocky and Ricky Hoffman of China Grove and a daughter, Kathy (Lloyd ) Joines of Landis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at New Testament Independent Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Bobby Utley, pastor. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. At other times the family will be at the residence. Memorials may be made to New Testament Independent Baptist Church, 5140 Irish Potato Road, Kannapolis, NC.
