Maria Del Rosario Ortiz Marquez

Maria Del Rosario Ortiz Marquez, 64, of El Paso Texas, went into eternal rest on November 22, 2020.

Maria was born in Rio Grande, Zacatecas Mexico on February 10, 1956 to the late Hipolito Ortiz and Consuelo Marquez.

Maria enjoyed helping others and worked as a caregiver for assisted home living. She loved spending time outside watering in her garden. She especially loved her roses. She also enjoyed cooking and listening to Mexican Regional Music.

Those left to cherish her memory include six children, Telma (Alfredo) Valle, Perla Rangel Ortiz, Ana (Donavon) Lilia Glaze, Deisy (Javier Medina) Rivas, Francisco Ortiz, and Sofia Rivas, 19 grandchildren, and 7 siblings.

A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Whitley’s Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Whitley’s Funeral Home with Father Fabio Marin Morales officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. Carolina Memorial Park.
