Marilyn Linkhart Workman

Obituary: Marilyn Linkhart Workman, 69, of Kannapolis passed away on Nov. 6, 2012 at the Bob and Carolyn Hospice House. She was born on June 30, 1943 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of the late Francis Otto Linkhart and the late Frances Ruth Linkhart Whitfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Thomas "Butch" Workman on September 24, 2008. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at the National Cemetery in Salisbury officiated by Rev. Jim Brookshire. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church where she was involved in several church activities. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly Cowell and husband David, of Concord and Karen Marrone of West Palm Beach, Fl., two grandchildren, Jessica Cowell and Dominick Marrone, a nephew Joe Merion of Austin, Tx, great niece Sarah Meiron, great-nephew, Jay Michael Meiron and many other loving family members and friends.
