Marjorie Shoffner Pearson

Obituary: Marjorie "Marty" Mae Shoffner Pearson, 80, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Five Oaks Nursing Center. Mrs. Pearson was born June 6, 1933 in New Bedford, Ill; to the late Thomas Shoffner and Dorothy Owens Shoffner. She worked as a supervisor at K-Mart until her retirement in 1992. Survivors include her son, Thomas A. Pearson of St. Louis, Mo; two daughters, Robin E. Pearson of Concord, and Lisa M. Easton of Concord; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband, Lester G. Pearson; two sons, Lester L. Pearson and William "Bill" Pearson; son-in-law, Robert Easton; a granddaughter Amy R. Pearson; a brother, Robert T. Shoffner, and two sisters, Bertha L. Frost and Mildred A. Burrows. At the request of Mrs. Pearson there will be no formal services.
