Marshall Landon Abbott

Marshall Landon Abbott, 29, of Mt. Pleasant, NC, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2022, one day before his 30th birthday.

His memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 10 at Whitley's  Funeral Chapel with Rev. Rodney Quesenberry officiating. His family will be receiving friends after the service.

Marshall was on born July 1, 1992, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Marshall loved being outdoors, especially if it involved fishing or kayaking. But what he loved most, was his family!

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Spencer Porter, and his beloved cousin, Zach Jacobs.

Family members left with cherished memories include his parents, Matthew and Elizabeth Abernathy; his maternal grandmother, Roberta Porter; paternal grandparents, John and Sue Abbott;  uncle and aunt, Jeff and Sharon Christenson, uncle and aunt  Mark and Rebecca Roberts;  great uncle and aunt, Roger and Sue Perkins; his siblings, Irene (Daniel) Smith, Brennan (Tania) Abbott, Kurtis (Victoria) Abbott, and Matthew and Taylor Abernathy; his beloved children, Melody, Gino and Gabriel Abbott; many cousins, nieces and nephews, Katie and Kelsey Roberts, Carsen and Jackson Christenson, Aiden and Noah Smith, Valerie and Johnathan Abbott, Alice, Spencer and Kathleen Abbott. and Teegan Abernathy; and many friends and coworkers who loved Marshall.
