Obituary: Kannapolis, NC- Martha Louise Wagoner Bost, age 91, died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at CMC-NorthEast, Concord, NC surrounded by her loving family after a serious illness of three days.She was born February 2, 1920 in Cabarrus County, NC, the daughter of the late Pink James Wagoner and Martha Lou Deamie Ervin Wagoner. Louise was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of Lane Street Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC where she and her late husband were directors of the senior citizens program for many years. Prior to that time she attended Tabernacle Baptist Church, China Grove, NC where she was a Sunday School Teacher in earlier years. She is fondly remembered as a special lady who was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She always cared about others before caring about herself. Louise sent special cards and gifts to many people as a special ministry of thinking about others. She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew her.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Herbert Brown Bost who died May 14, 2003; and also three brothers; and two sisters.The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Lane Street Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Jon Casteel and Rev. Gene Edwards. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home, Kannapolis, NC. Her body will lie in state Wednesday at the church from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M prior to the service.
