Martha Mosley Hardeman

Obituary: Martha Allene Mosley Hardeman, age 90, of 420 S. Main St died Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at her home surrounded by her entire family and friends after being seriously ill the past 6 months. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM Thursday, July 1 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Parker officiating. The family will receive friends 6 to 7:30 PM Thursday at the church prior to the service at other times they will be at the family home. Burial will take place at 11:00 AM Friday at Carolina Memorial Park. Martha was born February 9, 1920 in Madison Co. GA, the daughter of the late Dolphus M. and Maggie Mildred Brown Mosley. She was a longtime area resident, moving here in 1938. She was employed by Cannon Mills Co., working in Plant #1 in the Sheet Dept. until she retired. Martha was a longtime member of Central Baptist. She loved to sew and cook. Martha will be remembered for her big Sunday dinners. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Martha will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady Watson Hardeman in august 17, 1989 and by her brothers; Howard T., Emmett S. and Clinton Mosley. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara H. Orbison (Kenneth) her son Grady Terrell Hardeman (Patty), both of Kannapolis , her grandchildren Debbie Orbison, Tammie Mariano, Angie Upright (Mike), Grady J. Hardeman (Dana), Kenny Orbison and great-grandchildren; Brock Mariano, Taylor Upright, Ragan Upright, Cy Mariano, Jordan Hardeman, Myka Upright, Lindsey Hardeman and twins, Ava and Kyla Orbison. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Syble Mosley and nephew, Mark Mosley.
