Martha Long

Obituary: Martha Frances Pritchard Long, 75, of Concord passed away on December 16, 2017. She was born November 18, 1942 in Caldwell County, a daughter of the late Ira Dewitt Pritchard and Ruth Novella Yount Pritchard. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Otto Craven and a brother, Joe Pritchard. Martha graduated from Gamewell High School. She worked for Rep. James Broyhill in Washington, DC while in her '20's. She then worked for the Caldwell County Commissioners Office. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Caldwell County in the spring. Martha is survived by her husband, Ronnie Long, daughter, Paula Craven House and husband, Steve, granddaughters, Dyanna and Meggan, brother, Dewitt Hamrick Pritchard of Morganton, sisters, Anne Pritchard Holsclaw of Newton and Nancy Pritchard Isaacs of Lenoir, 3 nieces and 7 nephews.
