Martha Louise Helms

Martha Louise Helms, 73, of Clayton, NC passed away Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Clayton Health and Rehabilitation.

She was born January 25, 1952, in Rowan Co. to the late Howard Cornelius Helms and Maggie Elizabeth Weaver Helms.

Martha went to Rowan Vocational School, she enjoyed listening to music and reading children’s books, going on car rides, she enjoyed being around people, she will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and also two brothers, Jerry Helms in 2003, and David Helms in 2022.

Those left to cherish her memory, sisters, Jean Dancy, Becky Jones, a brother Donnie Helms and 10 nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dennis Craft officating, burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
