Martha Ann Reece

Obituary: Mrs. Martha Ann Reece, 73, of Landis, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 after an extended illness. She was born April 14, 1943 in Lincoln County to the late Tom B. Hager and Edna L. Moss Hager. Martha enjoyed working in her flowers and loved listening to music, and taking care of her Family. Martha is survived by her husband of fifty-six years Bobby Reece Sr. of the home, three sons; Bobby Reece, Jr. of Landis, N.C., Mark Reece of Trinity, N.C., Chris Reece and wife Tamisha of Rockwell, N.C. Two brothers; Billy Ray Hager and wife, Dianne of Denver, N.C., Tommy Hager and wife, Pat of Mount Mourn. Two sisters, Shirley Jean Carpenter of Calabash, N.C. and Nancy Covington and husband, Jimmy of Davidson, N.C. and two grandchildren. The Reece Family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2016 at Whitley's Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. in Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Rev. Mike Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in West Lawn Cemetery, China Grove, N.C.
