Obituary: Martha Ann Wilson Withers, 76, of China Grove passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018 at her home after a period of declining health. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 30 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel, with Rev. Garry Withers officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord. Her family will receive friends at Whitley's Annex Chapel from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the funeral. Martha was born September 2, 1942 in Anderson, SC, the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Thelma Karr Wilson. She was of the Baptist faith. Her favorite NASCAR driver was Jeff Gordon and she loved going to the beach. Martha received her LPN from Rowan Tech. She worked tirelessly as a nurse to provide for her 3 daughters. Employed by Cabarrus Memorial for many years, she gave compassionate, gentle care to all her patients. Martha will be dearly missed. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 33 years, Graline Withers of the home, her daughters; Patricia Honeycutt (David) and Regina Lowe (Mic), both of Kannapolis and Lorri Overcash of Faith, her six grandchildren; Michael Honeycutt (Jamielynn), Jennifer Putorti (James), Chris Lowe (Kathleen), Lindsay Lowe, Cassie Childress (Logan) and Matthew Overcash (Tiffany) and her 3 great-grandchildren; Connor Honeycutt, Rachael Honeycutt-Putorti and Presley Honeycutt.
