Mary Catherine (Wages) Daniels

Mary Catherine Wages Daniels ,74, of Mt. Ulla died Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville after a period of declining health.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 15 at West Lawn Mausoleum Chapel with her family receiving friends after the committal service by the grave.

Mary was born July 21, 1946 in Anderson Co. SC, a daughter of the late Bob Henry Wages and Ordie Goodman Barbee. In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Wilson and Jerry Daniels, her daughters, Glinda Kay Wilson and Lori Ann Isenhour and her son, Ronald Wilson.

A longtime area resident, Mary was a member of N. Kannapolis Baptist Church. She worked as an accountant for Wachovia/Wells Fargo Banks. Mary enjoyed spending time at the beach with her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed.

Mary is survived by her son, Michael Lee Daniels of Mt. Ulla, her daughter-in-law, Libby Byars, her grandson, Aron W. Gragg of China Grove and her great-grandson, Jacexin Gragg, her sister, Linda Anderson (Junior) of Kannapolis, her brothers, Robert Wages of China Grove and Raymon Wages of Kannapolis as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
