Mary Tate Faggart

Obituary: Mooresville, N.C. Mary Tate Faggart,74 of Mooresville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 26, 2017 after an extended illness. She was born August 3, 1943 in Cabarrus County to the late Harold and Della Mae Watkins Tate Hayes. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Larry Wayne Faggart. Mary is survived by her daughter Gigi Faggart Larson of Mooresville and grandson Travis Wayne Martin (who was named after his Grandpa) of Asheville. Mary was a member of Southside Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and helped in various phases of the church as long as her health permitted. Mary and her husband always looked forward to enjoying cruises with having family and friends spend time with them at the lake. The Faggart Family will receive friends Monday, December 4, 2017 at Faith Baptist Church, 904 Chipola Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083 from 10:00 until 10:45 A.M. A funeral service will began at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. James Pauley officiating. Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband in the National Cemetery, Salisbury N.C. at 1:00 P.M.
