Mary Belle Cashion Hill

Obituary: Mary Belle Cashion Hill formerly of Kannapolis passed away on January 31, 2015 at The Brian Center of Concord after 7 years of declining health. She was born on April 26, 1923 in Cabarrus County the daughter of the Late Zeb Vance Cashion, Sr. and the Late Lillian Holbrooks Cashion. She was a life-long area resident and attended Eastwood Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC where her late husband Rev. Millard Hill was pastor for several years. She worked as a counter helper at Dixie Cleaners for 10 years. In addition to her parents and husband Millard Hill in 1982, she was preceded in death, by a daughter; Barbara Johnson of Gold Hill, a son; Millard Lindsay Hill. A brother Zeb Vance Cashion, Jr. and wife Nell, a sister Margarette Cashion. Survivors include 2 sons; William Vance "Buddy" Hill and wife Gaynelle of Winston Salem, Zeb Albert Hill and wife Mary Ann of Saunook, NC, and 1 daughter Sharon Hill Miller of Salisbury. 1 sister; Jean Gurley of Kannapolis. 11 grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren and 7 Great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 3, 2015 at 2:00pm at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joey Spry officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Tuesday February 3 at Whitley's Funeral Home.
