Mary Martin Howard

Obituary: Mary Martin Howard age 72 died Friday Aug. 27, 2010 at Four Seasons Hospice House, Flat Rock, NC after an extended illness. Mrs. Howard was born Oct. 7,1937 in Union County, NC to the late James H. Martin and the late Dora Williard Martin. She was educated in the Kannapolis City Schools and was a member of Centerview Baptist Church. Mrs. Howard was employed as a nursing asst. with the home health care for many years retiring in 1999. Funeral services will be Monday Aug. 30, 2010 at 1:00P M at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel with Rev. Willie Rash officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis. The family will see friends Sunday Aug. 29, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 P M at Whitley's Funeral Home. Mrs. Howard is survived by one Son Eric Howard and wife Beth of Mocksville, One daughter Ellen H. Caudle and husband Randy of Hendersonville, NC, One sister Barbara Jarvis of Clemmons, NC, and also seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur K.
