Mary Ruth Henry Ludwick

Obituary: Mary Ruth Henry Ludwick, 75, of Concord died after a brief illness at CMC-NorthEast on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Mary Ruth was born Feb. 15, 1937, a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Hawkins Henry. In her early years she worked for Cannon Mills, but her family will always remember her as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and Aunt. She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents Mary Ruth was recently preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ludwick, who died in December of 2011, and also by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She is survived by her son; Terry Ludwick and wife, Melanie, grandson, Christopher Lee Ludwick, all of Concord and sister, Betty Martin of Kannapolis and other loving relatives. The funeral service will take place at 2:30 PM Thursday, March 1st at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leonard Ewing and Rev. Ronnie Cooper. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:30 Pm prior to the funeral, at other times they will be at the family residence.
