Obituary: Harrisburg, NCJane Pinkelton, of Harrisburg, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Northeast Medical Center with family by her side. Born February 21, 1934 in Grover, NC Jane was the daughter of the late Jack and Eva LeeEdison Pinkelton.Jane is survived by her children, Dwight "Dix" Dixon (Donna), Katherine Dixon and Angie Hendrix (Robert). She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Scott Dixon, Jane Talton (Beau), great granddaughter, Anna Jane Talton, Sister, Carolyn Drake and brother, Russell Pinkelton (Judy).Jane was a faithful choir member at Harrisburg Presbyterian and a charter member of First Assembly of Concord. Prior to moving to South Carolina to manage bookkeeping for her daughter's restaurants in Myrtle Beach, Pawley's Island and Georgetown, Jane was the Harrisburg Town Clerk and worked in accounting for Flowers Furniture for many years. The warmth of her smile and beauty will not be forgotten, and her talents of dancing, singing, cooking, and sewing are carried on by her children and grandchildren.The family will receive friends Friday, December 23, 2011 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Whitley's Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Tom Whidden.Graveside services will be 2:30 P.M. Friday at Grover Cemetery in Grover, NC. At other times the family will be at their respective residences.Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O.
