Mary S. Rhinehardt

Obituary: Mary Rhinehardt, 84, of Casselberry, Florida (formerly of Kannapolis) passed away on May 10, 2015 at Cocoa Beach, Florida. She was born November 28, 1930, the daughter of the late Joe and Nezzie Short Griffin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Rhinehardt whom she married in 1960. Mary was born in Chesterfield County, SC and moved to Kannapolis as a young child. She went to Cannon High School. She worked for Fieldcrest-Cannon for 30 years and then for K-Mart for 20 years. She moved to Casselberry, Fl. in 2000 to live with her son and wife, Joel and Crystal Rhinehardt and grandson, Justin Rhinehardt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, May 15, 2015 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Whitley's Funeral Home. She is survived by 3 children, son, Coy Rhinehardt and wife, Diane of Kannapolis, daughter, Teresa Riley of Concord, son, Joel Rhinehardt and wife, Crystal of Casselberry, Fl., her sister, Edith Cosgrove of Columbia, SC and 12 grandchildren.
