Mary Francis White

Obituary: Mary Francis Ervin White, 101, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Caremoor Retirement Center following a period of declining health. She was born February 9, 1916 in Rowan County, N.C. a daughter of the late Charles P. and Annie Parker Ervin. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kelly Ivan Ketchie and a brother, Billy Ervin. Mary was a member of Jackson Park Baptist Church. She retired from Cannon Mills Plant #1, Packaging room, with forty three years of service. There will be a Memorial Service to celebrate her life 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Jackson Park Baptist Church conducted by Rev. J.R. Beaver. Family members left to cherish her memory are one son; Larry Ketchie of Concord, a grandson; Kevin Vann Ketchie and wife Amy of Reidsville, and four great grandchildren; Caleb Ketchie, Brittini Williams, Jordan Williams, Dustin McGlamery and wife Kaylee. The family will speak with friends following the service at the church. At other times they will be at the residence of the son. The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Jackson Park Baptist Church, 1005 Jackson Street, Kannapolis, NC 28083. Whitley's Funeral Home is serving the family of Mrs. White.
