Obituary: Mary Ann "M.A." Perry Williams, 81, of Concord, went to be with her Lord, peacefully in her sleep, on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Transitional Health Care Center in Kannapolis. Mrs. Williams was born October 8, 1931 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Robert Edward and Katherine Price Perry. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Williams. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a seamstress at Terry Products. She was a member of Kannapolis Church of Christ. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00 pm, Sunday, Oct. 13th at Kannapolis Church of Christ conducted by Minister Kirk Sams and grandsons, Jonny Cannon and Minister Jeff Cannon. Entombment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove. The family will receive friends at the church before the service. Survivors include two sisters, Kay Perry Miller of Mint Hill and Cassie Cannon (Wayne) of Kannapolis, niece; Karen George (Ken) of Cary, 4 nephews; Eric Miller (Kem) of Mint Hill, David Miller (Allison) and Jeff Cannon (Kelly) both of Salisbury and Jonny Cannon (Sarah) of Raleigh. Also surviving are 17 great nephews, 5 great nieces, 2 great-great nieces and 3 great-great nephews. Mrs. Williams was so loved and will be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: Caleb Sams Cancer Fund, C/O Kannapolis Church of Christ, 2315 Concord Lake Road, Kannapolis, NC 28083.

Interment: West Lawn Memorial Park.
