Mason Cecil Hager

Obituary: Mason Cecil Hager, age 3 week old infant son of Corey Lee Hager and Autumn Nicole Upright of Kannapolis passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his home. He was born December 30, 2016 in Cabarrus County, NC. He was always an alert baby and always smiling. Some of his family thought that he always looked like his Pawpaw. He loved lying on his daddy's and pawpaw's chests and look around at everything taking in the world with his eyes. For the short time we had Mason, he gave us a lifetime of joys and memories. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Bobby Brawley. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral Home prior to the service. Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Rylin Grace Hager; grandparents, Terry Kevin Hager and Melissa Sue Hager; Peggy Watson; Keith Watson; great-grandparents, Kermit James Miller and Connie Gail Miller; Ellane Huffman; and Ella Hazel Elkins.
