Obituary: Mattie Elaine Reeder Beaver, 69, of Kannapolis, NC died at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis on June 7, 2017. Elaine was born on June 21, 1947 in Mecklenburg County, NC the daughter of the late Wriston Lee Reeder and the late Blanche Nolan Reeder. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her three siblings; Bennie Louis Reeder, Richard Lee Reeder and William Calvin Reeder. Elaine was a loving, caring, compassionate wife, mother, grandmother who was known to welcome many people into her home who needed her generosity. Also, she was a CNA/ Administrator for a number of healthcare firms in this area. The funeral service for Mrs. Beaver will take place at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 10th at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by her son, Pastor J.R. Beaver. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m., Friday, June 9th, at Whitley's Funeral Home. Elaine is survived by her loving husband, Larry Beaver, Sr. of the home; a daughter, Tammie Leigh Bullard (Tommy), a son, Rev. J.R. Beaver (Brandy), step-children; Schaley McCullen and Kim Weeder; eight grandchildren; Brooke Finley, Zachary Finley, Ashlie Hall, Quinten Beaver, Makalie Beaver, Laura Pacini, Joey Weeder, and Anthony Pacini. She is also survived by seven nieces; Bonnie Reeder, Nancy Pinion, Mary Beth Furr, Karen Carlson-Clay, Sharon Lambert, Georgie Reeder and Pam Lynn.
