Mazell Strickland

Obituary: Mazell Gullett Strickland, 90, of Kannapolis died January 25, 2018 at her home. She was born October 23, 1927 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Lewis and Sally Gullett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Strickland in 2008, son, Billy Dale Strickland and Kathy Diane Strickland. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Kirk Tutterow and Wayne Strickland. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 prior. She is survived by three children, Donna Strickland, Kristy Strickland, Glenn Smith, Jr., 6 great grandchildren, Lilly Enamait, Audrey Enamait, Kinsee Mae Cannon, Taryn Anderson, Bryant Anderson, Ethan Mullery and her faithful companion, Millie Mae.
