I come with a heavy heart with news from Mike Center’s sister, Sharon A. Center, that he passed away today. As soon as she has more information about celebration of Life I will let you all know! I met Mike in 6th grade. Me and Reid Wilkinson on the purple team! Mike was hilarious. He had me and Reid believing that he could speak 17 languages and he was just jabbering away random shit. Had us going for about half of 6th grade until his parents spilled the beans. This man loved basketball!! Arizona Wildcats biggest fan!!! I remember Duke my team in 2001 played his and he didn’t talk to me for 2 weeks after Duke won!! So competitive. He finally came around and apologized. Big heart full of joy, loved hard. We went to see Kings of Comedy two nights in a row at concord mills movie theater because we laughed so hard!! He bought the CD to play in his Acura hahahaha best Bernie Mac impersonation ever!! And he could impersonate my Dad like the best!!!! If you have a good memory about Mike Center, share one here!! Love you Mike AKA Roy That’s what my dad called him one time because he forgot his name I’m sure your mom welcomed you with open arms❤️. Northwest Cabarrus Trojan Class of 2001. Rest Easy Buddy ❤️❤️
