Michael Ray Horne

Obituary: Michael Ray Horne passed away July 12, 2015 in his home. Born May 11, 1971, he was a devoted father and grandfather. Michael enjoyed fishing and hunting. A fan of NASCAR, he always cheered for the Earnhardts. Michael owned and operated his construction company for 30 years. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Second Baptist Church, Kannapolis, NC officiated by Rev. Gary Scoggins. Burial will be at a later date. The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM until the start of the memorial service and after the service at the church. Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Jennie Call Horne; three daughters, Brandy Horne Green, Tiffany Suzanne Horne (and Michael Wayne Sullivan) and Ashley Denise Brooks; three grandchildren, Kinsley Michelle Green, Emerie Alexis Horne and Michael Braylen Sullivan, siblings Betty Ann Horne and Timothy Scott Horne, and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Charlie Bradford Horne, his mother, Joyce Ann Brooks and siblings Bradford Lynn Horne and Sharon Kay Horne.
