Obituary: Michael D. Kirk, 59 of Kannapolis passed away, Thursday March 8, 2018 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Kannapolis Church of God with Dr. Greg Sloop officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service. He was born June 17, 1958 in Greenbrier Co. WV, to the late Cary Joseph Kirk and Thelma Gaye Williamson Kirk, He was also preceded by two sisters. Michael was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be dearly missed. Those left to cherish his memory, his wife Regenia Kirk, three daughters Jessica Kirk, Sarah Page, Hannah Kirk, two grandchildren Zavien, Myleah, two sisters, and six brothers.
