Michael J. Kivett

Obituary: Michael J. Kivett, age 47, of Mooresville NC, formerly of Prince Frederick MD, passed away January 30, 2010 at Northeast Medical Center in Concord NC, surrounded by his loving family. Michael was a devoted father and is survived by two children; Ashley Kivett of Manassas, VA and Tyler Kivett of Mooresville, NC. He is also survived by his mother Mary-Ann Kivett of North Beach, MD and his father and step-mother Terry and Sue Kivett of Shadyside, MD. Michael also leaves behind a sister Michelle Kivett Hartley of North Beach, MD and a brother Tony Kivett and Wife Darlene of St. Leonard, MD, As well as numerous nieces and nephews, a great niece and great nephew. A memorial service to honor his life will be held in Kannapolis, NC at the Midway United Methodist Church on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 7:30 PM and at Riva Trace Baptist Church in Davidsonville, MD on February 27, 2010. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 on Friday at Midway Methodist Church.
