Obituary: Michael Wayne Lucas, 24, of Salisbury died Friday, December 2, 2011. He was born December 2, 1987 in Blacksburg, Va., the son of Billy E. and Sheila Stump Lucas of Salisbury. He was employed with Hubbard and Associates in Kannapolis. He was a member of West Park Baptist Church in Rockwell. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Charles Carver. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Whitley's Funeral Home.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Billy E. Lucas III of Salisbury, his sister, Sarah Utterback of Lovettsville, Va., grandparents, Pearl Lucas and Bea Lucas both of Narrows, Va. and a very special lady to Michael and his family, " Mrs. Susan" Davis of Rockwell.
