Michael Eugene Murph

Michael Eugene Murph Sr., 63, of Hickory, passed away, Sunday, June 28, 2020, in Ocean Isle Beach.

He was born January 12, 1957, in Cabarrus Co. to Shirley Ann Dudley Murph and the late Claude Ray Murph.

Michael worked for Hendricks Mercedes for 27 years. Michael enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, Van Clubs. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, he was a loving, father, son, brother, and Uncle. He loved the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his father Claude Ray Murph in 2015.

Those left to cherish his memory his children Wes Murph of Mooresville, Amber Murph (Gary) of Concord, Michael Murph Jr. of Concord, his mother Shirley Murph of Concord, sister Ann Herring (Randy) of Concord, brothers, Gordon Murph (Kema) of Kannapolis, Richard Murph of Concord, step-daughter Rochelle Wagoner of Hickory, and nine grandchildren.

A service will be held at a later date

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
