Michelle Renee (Trotter) Doby

Michelle Trotter Doby, 52, of Kannapolis, peacefully passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 11, 2021, at her home, with loved ones by her side holding her hands.

Born December 27, 1968, in Randolph County, she was a daughter of the late Larry G. and Mildred Deaton Mosley.

Earlier in life, Michelle had worked for Philip Morris for 15 years, later becoming a talented, much loved hairdresser. She loved trips to the Florida Beaches and was able to get her last wish of seeing and enjoying the beach one more time with her family. Michelle loved all of her family and treasured time spent with her grandchildren.  She had a special place in her heart for her fur babies. Gone too soon, Michelle will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family memories left with cherished memories include her devoted wife, Sadie Rose; her children, Josh Doby (Skyla), Tola Rose, Courtney Rose and Daaron Presnell; her much loved grandchildren, Caysen and Collins Doby; her sister, Lisa Yow (Kenny); special niece and nephew, Kyndl and Holdon  Yow; her aunt, Joyce Hussey (Benny) and their daughter, Angie.

The family will receive friends from 12:15-1:15 pm Monday, August 16, 2021, at Whitley’s Funeral Home.  Services to remember, to celebrate and to give thanks for Michelle’s life will begin at 1:15 pm in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Rev. Don Jarrell.
