Michelle Lipe

Obituary: Michelle Renee Lipe 49, of Kannapolis went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 16, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born July 29, 1968 in Cabarrus County to the late Clifford Connell and Doris Paige Connell. Michelle worked as a sales representative with Avon for 31 years. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was past youth director and active in various phases of the church. She was also active in the community by helping with animal rescue. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Todd Lipe of the home, a daughter Eden Gillen and husband Tyrus of Kannapolis, a son Dustin Elliatt and partner Wes Black of Kannapolis, a brother Mike Connell of Kannapolis, and her sister Sabrina Bennett and husband Tom of China Grove. Also her much loved canine babies Lucy, Luke, and Max, her grand pups. A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel. Funeral Services will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday June 20, 2018 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel with Pastor Stephanie Young officiating. Michelle will be laid to rest in West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove, N.C. The Lipe Family will gather at the home of Sabrina Bennett, 2585 Lipe Road, China Grove, N.C.
