Obituary: Mildred Miller Bibeau, 78, of Kannapolis died Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at the Bob and Carolyn Hospice House. She was born March 18, 1933 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late Willie and Alpha Long Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. Bibeau and her brother, Bill Miller. Mildred was a life-long area resident, graduated from Cannon High School in 1951.She had worked at Belk's Department Store until retiring in 1994. Mildred was an active member of Jackson Park Baptist Church. She taught Children's Sunday School for many years, sang in the choir and was active with the Church's Seniors group.The family will receive friends at Jackson Park Baptist Church from 12:00 to 1:30 PM Tuesday, November 22nd followed by memorial service at 2:00 PM at the church with Rev. Jon Estes and Rev. Herman Absher officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.She is survived by a daughter, Sara B. Price (Mike) of Kannapolis, two sons, David Eugene Bibeau (Rose) of Catawba and Kendall Dean Bibeau (Carolyn) of Concord. Also surviving are two sisters; Sarah Bragg (Aubrey) of Kannapolis and Jackie Cox (Jim) of Apex and a brother Jack Miller of Ocean Isle and her grandchildren, Caleb B. Smith, Lindsey Bibeau and Richard Bibeau.In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bob and Carolyn Tucker Hospice House, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com
