Mildred Templeton Dancy

Obituary: Mildred Templeton Knowles Dancy, 79, formerly of Kannapolis, died March 14, 2012 in South Pittsburgh, TN. Her death follows a period of declining health. Mildred was born on March 2, 1933 in Davie County a daughter of the late Fred and Mary Hoffman Templeton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands, W.J. Knowles and Robert Lee Dancy. Mrs. Dancy is survived by her daughter, Jeri Taylor (Kenneth) of Chattanooga, TN., 2 grandsons, Josh Taylor (Sandy) of Soddy Daisy, TN, and Zachary Taylor of Chattanooga, TN., 2 great grandchildren, Abygail and Ashton Taylor, 2 sisters, Lucy Collins of Salisbury, and Mary Lynn Nance (Pete) of Thomasville, and 1 brother, Charles Templeton of Kannapolis. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Liberty U.M.C. Cemetery in Mocksville.
