Mildred Kiser

Obituary: Mildred Elaine Childress Kiser, 80, of Kannapolis passed away on October 1, 2017. She was born April 4, 1937 in Cabarrus County, a daughter of the late John Lee Childress and Paralee Moon Childress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Alexander Kiser. She had formerly worked at Cannon Mills for many years. Mildred loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved listening to Elvis Pressley and she loved her dogs. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Annex Chapel officiated by Lauree Sorrow. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 PM Prior at Whitley's Annex Chapel. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Bost (Rick), Leigh Ann Beaver (Marty), step daughter, Sandy Giddings, grandchild, Darin Beaver (Destiny), two step grandchildren, Todd Giddings, Shane Giddings, 5 step great grandchildren and 1 soon to be great grandchild on the way, and a sister, Lydia Morse.
