Mildred Deaton Mosley

Obituary: Mildred Frances Deaton Mosley, 69, of Kannapolis passed away at CMC-NE on Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Mildred was born on December 11, 1944 in Asheboro, NC, the daughter of the late Mildred Owens Deaton Leonard and the late Robert James Deaton. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by a brother, William (Buster) Deaton. Mildred was a retired hairdresser and had formerly been a member of Charlotte Methodist Church in Asheboro, NC. Survivors include her husband, Larry G. Mosley of the home; 2 daughters, Meleisa Trotter Yow (Kenny) of Kannapolis and Michelle Trotter Doby of the home; 3 grandchildren, Joshua Doby, Kyndl Yow and Holdon Yow; a brother, James Pate Deaton of Randleman, NC and a sister, Joyce Deaton Hussey of Seagrove, NC. The funeral service for Mrs. Mosley will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 12, 2014 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Don Jarrel. Burial will take place at Sunset Memory Garden in Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends at Whitley's from 9:30-11:00a.m., before the service.
