Mildred Garrett Nall

Obituary: Mildred Garrett Nall, 90, of China Grove passed away June 6, 2018. She was born June 9, 1927 in Cherokee County, a daughter of the late Willis and Evelyn Anderson Garrett. She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Nall and a granddaughter, Danita Dee Powell Litaker. Mildred was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Whitleys's Funeral Home with a service to follow at 2:00 in Whitley's Chapel officiated by Rev. Curtis Parker. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Powell (Lee), grandchildren, Chadwick Lee Powell (Crystal), great grandchildren, Ashland Nichole Powell, Blake Litaker, Malana Bailey and her sister, Lorene Gurley (Paul).
