Mildred (Mickey) Olivia Power Watts, 90 years, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 7, 2021, after a short illness in Kannapolis.
Mickey was born in Kannapolis on April 30, 1930, a daughter of the late Charlie Allen and Ethel Emma Cooper Power.

Mickey worked at Cannon Mills in Kannapolis in the Graphic design and marketing departments. She loved crafts and was very talented in this area. She also loved animals; she showed horses and won many competitions, owned miniature horses, and always had a spoiled dog in the house. She enjoyed spending time with all her relatives and organized many family gatherings, trips, and cruises. She was a former member of First Baptist Church and Central Baptist Church. Mickey served as a volunteer at a local soup kitchen. She had a huge caring heart and served as a caregiver for several family members for most of her life. Mickey was a true blessing to others and will be missed.
In addition to her parents, Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Roland Watts, Sr; her brothers, James Doyle Power and Charlie David Power and her sisters, Mary Frances Power Collins and Hester Elizabeth Power Watkins.
She is survived by her sons, Ralph R. Watts, Jr. and Ricky W. Watts (Beverly), her sisters Betty Jo Power Troutman and Virginia Power Shuping, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 2 great-greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
