Minnie Jeanne Euart

Obituary: Minnie Lee "Jeanne" Rogers Euart, 96, of Faith passed away on December 24, 2017 at Genesis ElderCare. She was born and raised in Kannapolis (Rowan County) on April 30, 1921, a daughter of the late Joseph Eugene Rogers and Eula Elizabeth Stallings Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Caldwell Euart in 2000, a brother, Jimmy Rogers and a sister, Jodie Morales. Jeanne had formerly worked as a spinner in several cotton mills before retiring. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Faith, NC. Jeanne loved bluegrass music and enjoyed playing all types of string instruments such as guitar, mandolin and the piano. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Rev. Jerry L. Snipes. Burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at Whitley's Funeral Home. Jeanne is survived by two sons, Monte G. Baucom (Wanda) of Rockwell, David Reginald Euart (Susan) of Faith, daughter, Vanessa Sterling (Delbert) of Salisbury, 8 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren and 1 great- great- grandchild.
