Obituary: Misty Dawn Coley Reece, age 45, was called home by the Lord to live with the Angels on Saturday, May 30, 2009. She was born January 16, 1964 in Rowan County, NC, the daughter of Johnny C. Coley and the late Mary Dale Caudill Coley. She was a 1982 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. During her last several weeks of declining health, Misty and her husband, Ronald, lived with Ronald's parents, James and Barbara Reece. They have opened their home to all friends and family members with love and compassion. Misty was loved by many, many people as evidenced by the steady flow of people who came to visit and express their love to her. Misty was such a blessing to every person who ever came in contact with her. Her faith and love in Jesus Christ always showed. She leaves her love and compassion in the hearts of the many people and her influence will continue on. Misty was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church, North Campus, Charlotte, NC. Her health prevented her from participating in activities the way she desired. Misty enjoyed spending time with her many girl friends. She enjoyed camping with her husband and friends and spending time at the beach, her most favorite place in which she felt no pain from systemic lupus. We want to thank our dear friends, Mike and Salena Sides, for sharing their beach home and giving Misty many weeks of pleasure and comfort form the pains of lupus.
