Mrs. Johnnie Todd

Obituary: Johnnie Lee Harrington Todd, 86, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 at CMC Northeast. Mrs. Todd was born November 5, 1928 in Union County to the late Lee and Ollie Mullis Harrington. Johnnie was married to the late Marvin Paul Todd. She retired from Northwest Cabarrus High School after many years of service; and she was a charter member of Odell Baptist Church. Survivors include her four grandchildren, Marvin Franklin Todd (Shannon), Amanda Todd Alexander (Kenneth), Tiffany Dawn Linn, and Todd Alexander Linn; six great- grandchildren, Austin Todd, Ethan Todd, Kayla Todd, Mason Alexander, Isabella Marlow, and Maliyah Linn; three sisters, Lois Threatte, Joyce Hathcock, and Gina Bender; and three brothers, Eugene Harrington, Lawrence Harrington, and Clarence Harrington. Mrs. Todd was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Gary Dean Todd; a daughter, Tina Kay Todd Beaver; and a brother, Clonnie Harrington. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park.
