Nancy Jones Beasley

Obituary: Nancy Carol Jones Beasley, 68, of Kannapolis went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2018 at Big Elm Nursing Center and Rehabilitation. Death was unexpected. Nancy was born August 18, 1949 In Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late James Frank Jones and Pauline Roberts Jones. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Kannapolis where she was a member and treasurer of the 50s plus Group. Nancy was a 1967 graduate of A.L. Brown High School where she was a cheerleader and remained an avid football fan. She was a beach lover and enjoyed shagging. She was employed at Terry Products for 25 years. Nancy loved to travel, cook, and dearly enjoyed family gatherings at her home. Funeral services will be 4:30 P.M. Monday, January 22, 2018 at First Wesleyan Church of Kannapolis. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 P.M. until 4:30 P.M. prior to the service. At other times the family will be at the residence. Family members left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Ronnie Beasley of the Home, one son, Chris Beasley, his wife Connie and their daughter Sarah of Concord, one daughter, Rhonda Pierce, her husband Keith and their children; Andrew, Kristen and Allison, all of Kannapolis, four brothers; Howard Jones and wife Cindy of Kannapolis, Paul Jones of Towson, Maryland, Dwight Jones and wife Lynne of Concord and Tom and Judy Jones of Kings Mtn. The family is awaiting the birth of a great grandchild expected at the end of June. Nancy also leaves her canine companion, Daisy Mae. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
