Nancy Lou (Lee) Connell

Nancy Connell, native of Mint Hill, NC went to live in her heavenly home early on the morning of September 10, 2022.

Born, January 24, 1930 in Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Helen Hall Lee.

Nancy was loved by so many and touched so many lives with her work at Clear Creek Elementary, Hamrick's Clothing in Charlotte and her friends and caregivers at Transitional Health Services, where she resided for the last eight years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Kannapolis.

Nancy is survived by her two children Janet Hill (Mark Hill) and Joseph Connell (Denise Lloyd); six grandsons, Gene Sebastian, Josh Connell, Jason Sebastian, Jonathan, Ben and Isaac Hill; seven great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Reuben Joseph Connell, Jr; her daughter Nancy Ellen Sebastian and her husband Rodney Lee Sebastian.

A graveside service to honor Nancy's life will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday September 13, 2022 at Arlington Baptist Church Cemetery, 9801 Arlington Church Rd., Mint Hill, NC 28227. Rev. John McGinnis will officiate. The family will receive friends at the graveside from 1:00PM - 2:00PM prior to the service at the graveside.
